• Speaker Events The Institute has regular Speaker Events, over a luncheon or dinner, where senior Canadian and foreign leaders provide "background briefings and updates" on current military and foreign affairs. • Military History Nights The Institute is pleased to present a regular series of candid and enlightening military history presentations as part of its Military History Nights series, which takes place under the auspices of the Special Events Committee. • Roundtables The Institute has periodic Roundtable discussions, presented by the Defence Studies Committee. These forums are designed to allow attendees to actively participate in the discussion of a current military topic, and are followed by an optional light soup and sandwich luncheon. • Conferences The Institute is involved in hosting, sponsoring, and/organizing conferences and forums on strategic and military affairs. The first Joint Research Conference was held at the Institute on September 2004, and further conferences are being planned. |
